Can't believe I didn't some here sooner. Really enjoyed our dinner tonight. Had the squid karaage which was well seasoned, light and crispy. The sushi was fresh and the Nigiri pieces were nice and long, the Tuna was especially soft and delicious. I'll definitely be back, everything we had tonight was great, looking forward to trying the other menu items. Also, staff is very attentive and working with big smiles. Cozy atmosphere with nice big windows.
We had a great meal at Sushi Hinode. When in Fort Langley, this is where we would recommend you go for modern Japanese food in a relaxed environment. Service was attentive and friendly. We were seated in the middle of this relatively small restaurant and took advantage of the opportunity to people watch. Our waiter answered our questions and our order arrived quickly. The restaurant is modern, maintained, and clean. Active cleaning and sanitizing was taking place between seatings, which is nice to see. There is a honey pine and warm white colour palette at play here, which is relaxing and modern. The food was delicious and well presented. The fish was fresh without any indication of sitting too long. The sushi rice had an exceptionally nice balance of sweet and tart, which caught our attention as something we enjoyed. Portions were generous; but not cut into pieces that are more than a mouthful (a problematic habit at other sushi establishments). I recommend Sushi Hinode. I can't criticize anything about our experience and we will be returning customers. It is worth both your time and money.
Never a bad experience here. Small spot, great service and great chef. Locals know, and are regulars. Speciality rolls and spicy options are amazing.
A very clean and nice local Japanese restaurant in the area. The place looked newly renovated and very chic and clean. Food tastes fresh and the price is pretty reasonably affordable. It’s likely over $50 in Vancouver for what I’ve ordered today. I’m highly recommended.
I'll start by saying it didn't feel like a Japanese or sushi Restaurant. Felt a little bit more like a cafeteria. But that being said, the service was quick and friendly. The food was Quick and delicious. The price was Right on the nose And reasonable. Aside from the somewhat plain atmosphere, I would definitely eat at this place again. If you're going for food then this is good choice. If you're going for an authentic Japanese experience, then you'll really love the food. I wish I could give you all five stars, but this is an honest review so I'm not able to. I'm looking forward to eating at this place again soon.
